I'm looking for an experienced mobile mechanic to inspect and diagnose an issue with my 2008 Mazda 3 automatic (250,000 km). Symptoms: After driving for some time, reverse gear stops working. The engine revs when reverse is selected, but the car does not move. Once the car cools down, reverse works again. While driving, the car jerks and has poor acceleration, especially when trying to gain speed. I'm looking for someone who can diagnose the cause and advise on the required repair. Factory clock and car stereo have completely stopped working in 2009 VE Commodore. It has a pioneer head unit with Aerpro system and the air con is running through this still but can't control any speeds. Initially the steering wheel controls stopped working and then in the last 2 days I've completely lost the clock and radio. Would like this fixed up and the steering wheel controls working again also. Had a mechanic check all the fuses yesterday and couldn't find any faulty fuses so will need some diagnostics run to find the fault he said.
