These gates were from my grandparents' home. I want to use them in the garden so doesn't need to be perfect, just want to get the rust off. Am very flex on timing but budget is firm. Would need to collect from our place in Mordialloc and can return whenever, so could be a project worked on in slow time. Core request is to strip old paint and rust so it's suitable for repainting. For this price, please let me know: - How many gates you can do (1, 2 or all 3); - If you can paint as well (whether we supply it or you); - Rough timeframe. We have a beautiful metal gate with some wooden inserts. The bottom of the gate is rusted and needs to be repaired and some of the internal "struts". The bottom of the gate is the worst affected. Please see images....

metal gate post (that is attached to the gate) has come away from the brick wall it was attached to. Needs to be re-anchored. the top anchor/bolt is too loose in the hole now, not sure if the hole can be re-used or filled or something. have added $200 as budget but flexible

The metal frame of a colour bond gate needs repair. Likely need to be welded. Gate does not close/latch properly. In the winds last night the gate has come open a ripped off the already loose latch on the bottom of the gate. As the top latch also does not reach at all and need to be fixed. The quote here is notional and extra costs can be added later.

I have a metal front gate. The hinge has rusted out/failed. I purchased additional hinges from Bunnings, but I don’t think the holes accurately line up for the screws. Will need someone that is able to fix/reattach. Photo is what it looks like properly attached.
