The metal post for our side gate has come away from the external wall and needs to be securely reattached, as shown in the photos. The mounting holes have already been drilled. The wall has an external wall insulation system (EWIS), so the appropriate plugs, fixings or chemical anchors must be used to secure the post properly without damaging the wall. Please supply all necessary fixings/materials and seal the penetrations so they remain weatherproof. Looking for someone experienced with mounting into externally insulated/rendered walls. One of the upper hinges on our metal driveway gate has broken away from the gate frame and needs to be repaired/re-welded. The lower hinge is still intact, and the gate is currently closed and secured with ground bolts. The gate is not used frequently, but we rent out the parking space behind it, so safety and long-term stability are important. Looking for someone experienced with metal gate repairs / welding to: • Repair and securely re-weld the broken upper hinge • Add reinforcement if needed for a strong and durable repair • Check the other three hinges and gate posts for any cracking, corrosion or signs of fatigue • Let me know if any other preventative reinforcement is recommended The gate opens outward and there is good access from the driveway. I'm looking for someone to reinstall my existing front metal pedestrian gate after new concrete has been poured. The gate was removed to allow the concreting works to be completed. Because the new footpath has a slightly different finished level, the gate will need to be adjusted and rehung so that it: - Opens and closes smoothly - Has adequate clearance over the new concrete - Is level and aligned with the brick pillars The existing hinges, latch and gate will all be reused if possible. The job may require minor adjustment of the hinge position or hardware to suit the new levels. I'd also like the timber fence on the other side of the brick pillar (along the property boundary) inspected and secured. It has started leaning away, so I'm looking for someone who can anchor or brace it back into position if possible. My metal gate has stopped closing due to erosion/wear on the latch area. The latch no longer lines up or catches properly, and the gate can’t be secured. I need someone who can assess the damage, realign or rebuild the latch mechanism, and ensure the gate closes smoothly and safely again.

The metal frame of a colour bond gate needs repair. Likely need to be welded. Gate does not close/latch properly. In the winds last night the gate has come open a ripped off the already loose latch on the bottom of the gate. As the top latch also does not reach at all and need to be fixed. The quote here is notional and extra costs can be added later.

I have a metal side gate where the latch/bolt goes into a brick wall. The brick has worn out and been patched previously and the bolt can now be forced out, wearing away the brick. I need a proper, long-lasting fix. I believe we need to drill into the brick and install a steel receiver/sleeve (tube) for the bolt or something similar to fix the issue. Open to other ideas!
