I bought a car from a licensed dealer. But the car is faulty with engine light on. And currently stopped working. It does start and runs, but does not go above 25 KM/Hr. So I reported the dealer to Office of Fair Trading. They asked me to get detailed car inspection as we may have to present it in the court against the dealer.

I had been away for two months and my car battery went flat while I was away. I’ve had it jump started and it’s fine, but then when I was driving it’s come up saying transmission issue. It’s automatic, but when I’m driving, it won’t change up gears. I’ve never had any issues with my transmission before. I’ve done some research and it says that it can just be when the cars battery goes flat that the codes need resetting and I need a OBD2 tool to clear the stores diagnostics. I need someone to come to my house and fix it if possible.

Both jumpstarting and the interlock system have already been checked, and it seems they are not the issue. Looks like it could be the starter motor as it does not crank at all when I turn the key. My engine oil cooling housing needs changing in my 2020 Holden Trax. The part has been bought from aus auto store, just need it to be replaced. I have my recent service that states it’s where the leak is from. Happy to have it changed at mine or if I need to take it to a shed/mechanic etc.
