Side yard landscaping project – approx. 18m long We are looking for an experienced landscaper or a capable person with strong plant knowledge and vision to transform the side of our house. The scope for stage one includes constructing a sleeper retaining wall along the full fence line, 18m long x 60cm wide (one or two sleeper heights), adding weed mat (if needed) soil and planting, and tidying and cleaning up the existing pathway to create a clean, cohesive and visually appealing finish. The total length is approximately 16-18 metres. The area will be cut back and largely ready to work with, although some minor additional prep may be required. We have a clear vision of what we want and are looking for someone who can execute it properly rather than design from scratch although very open to ideas also. This role would suit a landscaper or someone experienced in garden construction, retaining walls and plant selection and placement. The $100 budget shown is purely to list the task. When submitting your offer, please include your estimated labour cost and time required. The $100 will be deducted from the final agreed price for the successful applicant. Materials are not included in your quote and will be paid directly to suppliers to get delivered. Quantities, materials and plant selection will be discussed and agreed with the successful bidder before ordering, to ensure the outcome matches our expectations. This is stage one of a three-stage project. Subject to quality of work, budget and timing, the successful person will be given first opportunity to quote and complete stages two and three.
