**Timber fencing and retaining wall – Capalaba** Looking for quotes to replace retaining and install a 1.8 m high timber fence across three sections of my property: * **Neighbour side:** 27 m of fencing, with 16.3 m of retaining approximately 400 mm high. * **Near orange tree:** 7.5 m of fencing, including a 2.7 m wide double gate with two leaves meeting in the middle. This section also has 3.8 m of retaining approximately 400 mm high. * **Other side:** 4.9 m of fencing, including a 1.2 m wide single gate. **Total:** 39.4 m of fence, including both gate openings, and 20.1 m of retaining. I’m looking at H4 treated pine sleepers in galvanised steel H-posts for the retaining wall, with suitable drainage behind it. For the fence, I’d like H4 in-ground timber posts and H3 rails and palings, with a finish that provides good privacy. The existing retaining wall has rotted and needs replacing. I’d like to reuse as much of the existing fill as possible. The neighbour’s existing metal fence must remain in place; the new work will be on my side. The retaining wall will sit in front of the new fence, with the fence on the retained side. Fence posts will need suitable footings in firm ground. Please inspect or confirm the layout before quoting, particularly post locations, drainage, gate construction and any approvals needed near the carport. Please itemise **labour, materials, concrete, and removal/disposal** separately. I’d also appreciate separate prices for **retaining only** and **retaining plus all fencing and gates**

Hi Chasing some ideas of a wall to be secured to outer flat section of my new driveway behind garage. It’s only has to be a short 600-700 mm high the slope at one end to another for a property perimeter at fence line . There’s a thickening beam I believe to have either cyclone rods or dyna bolted . I have and can complete the backfill drainage side of the job ,would like the heavy electrical pipe to be placed through the wall to aid in drainage and any pressure away from the structure. Alternatively maybe use of concrete sleepers and secure to ground which is limited behind slab with galvanised posts . I hope this makes sense Site inspection is a good idea ,the wall being approximately no more the 12 metres in length. Cheers Damien

I have 1 cubic meter of top soil and 1 cubic meter of garden soil to be spread on various bare areas of grass.

I have an area that i wish to pave but physically cant dig the ground out. Total area is approximately 4m x 2m at most. The incline that needs digging is at most 3inches at deepest end. Small job.
