I need to lower the level of my patio by 20 cm and prepare the area for drainage installation and to replace existing pavers. Phase 2 of this project (outside the scope of this request, but feel free to quote / bid for it) will be to build a small retaining wall onto grass and put drainage around the house in trenches already dug up, and relay the pavers at new lower height. This task will involve: - Lifting up existing stone pavers and carefully putting down on grass (perhaps on tarp?) - Create order / system so they can be put back in the same order (all pavers square) - Remove top layer of dirt (clay based soil, no road base) - remove any tree roots you may encounter (expect you will find 1) - dig approx 20cm below existing layer - remove from site any dirt - Transport all soil to appropriate offsite location (kimbricki is close by) - Transport existing excavated dirt (see photo) offsite The access is via our side path, flat, approx 60cm wide The site is flat / no hills to navigate The soil is best taken to the front of the house via the side path There will be a plumber onsite to assist with drainage (Once that is done side path will widen to 80cm) Most objects on the patio will be removed prior to your arrival, we will ask you to assist in lifting the BBQ to a suitable out of the way area If you have landscaping experience, please include that in your quote and bid / quote for making the area level allowing for appropriate fall to drainage and put the pavers back.
