My front fence planning permit requires the following tasks done by an arborist: 1. A non-invasive root investigation is to be undertaken (supervised by an AQF Level 5 Arborist in accordance with Australian Standard 4970-2009 Protection of trees on development sites), to identify the size and number of roots in the location of, and to the depth of, the planned works. Once works are completed, an Arboricultural report must be submitted to Council providing the results of the investigation. The report must illustrate the location and size of all roots encountered, and form recommendations which demonstrate how the tree would remain viable. The recommendations must include statements on the footings/foundations and any changes which the author considers necessary to protect the Eucalyptus leucoxylon. 2. A suitably qualified Project Arborist (minimum AQF level 5) must be engaged to oversee the excavation for the fence posts within the TPZ of the street tree. The presence of roots in the post hole locations must be assessed and reported on by the Project Arborist to the satisfaction of the Responsible Authority before plans are endorsed to ensure no major roots are impacted. Any significant roots found are to be retained: i. No woody roots ≥30 mm diameter are to be severed. ii. Any tree roots <30mm are to be pruned with sharp sterile tools by the Project Arborist only.

To build 65 liner meter retaining wall, min height 200mm then increases to maximum height 900 mm, timber sleepers 200*75*2000 mm to be used with galvanised posts. Refer to the plan.

Remove the damaged wooden seat along with the soil underneath. Repair or maybe rebuild the retaining wall if there is any potentia risk of collapse. The stump may have to be removed to get access to the retaining wall.
