This suggests the internal washer or valve isn’t sealing completely. Additionally, water is seeping from the screw cap area, indicating that part of the tap assembly may need new sealing or tightening. Hot water tap handle area (needs replacement). The handle of the hot water tap is in poor condition (loose or broken), which is why it needs replacing. A new handle matching standard laundry taps should be supplied and fitted. Replacing the handle will ensure the tap can be turned on/off if needed in the future and will provide a better seal when turned off. A proper handle will also make it easier to operate the tap and ensure a tight shutoff once the internal issue is fixed. Task Requirements • Fix the Leak: Repair the tap assembly so that no water leaks out. This may involve replacing the internal washer/O-ring or fully capping the line to stop water flow. • New Tap Handle: Supply and install a new hot water tap handle (standard size) to replace the old one.
