Hi I have a hot water system that control valve needs replacing as pilot light will not stay on if you could do this please let me know. This is what my plumber said on weekend although he has gone away and couldn’t get any parts. ‘’From what I’ve seen, it’s most likely the gas control valve that’s at fault, but it’s still worth trying another genuine thermocouple first as they’re cheap and quick to rule out. If a new thermocouple doesn’t fix it, I’d be looking at replacing the control valve’’

Hot water temperature too low + drops when other taps are used We’re having an issue with our hot water system and would like a plumber to inspect it. When someone is showering upstairs, if another person uses hot water downstairs (for example, washing dishes or washing hands), the shower upstairs suddenly becomes very cold.
