Find a professional hot water system contractor in Glen Waverley

Our hot water system is intermittently failing. Sometimes the hot water works perfectly, while other times the water runs completely cold with no hot water at all. The issue appears random and inconsistent. During showers, the water may initially be freezing cold and then suddenly begin working normally, or stop working unexpectedly. The water does not gradually cool down, it is either fully hot or completely cold. We have a gas continuous flow hot water unit and suspect it may not be igniting consistently. The overall system is also quite old. When the hot water is turned on, the gas continuous flow unit can be heard clicking/ticking as if it is attempting to ignite. Looking for a plumber/gas fitter to inspect the system and advise whether repair or replacement is required. Photos can be provided.

Relocate hot water system about 2meters away and water pump about half a meter away.

Our LG washing machine has connections for both cold and hot water. The cold water hose is already connected. We now want to connect the hot water hose to the tap. However, the cap on the hot water tap is extremely tight, and we’re not sure if it has been used before. We would appreciate help with connecting it properly. A professional plumber would be preferable.
