I have the new door handle I need someone that knows how to replace this as it’s broken and I can’t open driver side door

Both headlights (right and left) on my Holden Captiva are blown. The high-beam bulbs are fine. So just need the low-beam bulbs replaced - which I believe are H7 bulbs. I'm hoping someone can supply the bulbs and come to install them in Pyrmont this weekend.

Need an oil and filter change on a 2004 statesman.. I have oil and filter but I don’t have a jack

I recently purchased a 1962 EJ Holden in Pinkenba. It is currently with a car transporter who are to deliver it to me in Melbourne. They tell me that the handbrake doesn't work. I need someone ASAP who has worked on cars of this age to identify whether the handbrake works, and if not to get it working. Hopefully it just requires adjustment of the cable, but I really don't know. I also don't know whether it doesn't work, or whether the car transport company just don't know how to use it - which I have documented for them in detail. Initially they told me it didn't have a handbrake, so clearly they don't know much about vintage cars. I also need you to show the staff how to use the handbrake. Naturally I'll pay additional cost of any required parts, just keep your receipts.

There is a rattling sound in the cabin of my car, soecifically in the left hand side if the front passenger seat. Sounds like a lose screw thats hitting some plastic. I’ve tried to search and fix it myself but had no success. I suspect the sound is coming from the front passenger door, seatbelt area or glove compartment area. Will need someone whi can identify and fix the rattling sound. I will be driving the car while the tasker identifies the loacation and cause. Will probably need some plastic trims removed etc. It may be a 10 minute job or a 1 hour job. Depends on how quick tasker can identify and dix the issue. Preferably job can be done while it is not raining either this friday or sunday.

I’m need a mechanic to do front break pads replacement. I also need them to supply the parts if possible. I’ve been quoted by 2 other mechanics so know the price range that’s usual i won’t repsond to higher then usual prices.

Or Jack Under Lower Control Arm Many HQ restorers install springs by: Removing the shock absorber. Positioning the spring correctly in the upper seat. Supporting the lower control arm with a floor jack. Slowly jacking the control arm up until the ball joint can be connected. Reinstalling the ball joint and shock. A safety chain through the spring is strongly recommended because HQ springs store a huge amount of energy. Helpful Extras Penetrating oil Long punch or drift Workshop manual Impact gun (optional) Important Safety Note HQ front springs can be dangerous if released unexpectedly. Never rely solely on a jack. Use quality jack stands and, ideally, a spring compressor or safety chain. If the lower control arm is disconnected and the spring is not restrained, it can eject with significant force.
