Hi, I need help removing a stripped engine oil drain plug on my Peugeot 308 (2010 model). • The drain plug uses an 8mm Allen key, but it is now completely rounded/slipped • I tried using a 7mm Allen key, but it does not grip • The outer surface is also rounded, so no grip for spanner • The bolt is tight and cannot be removed I already have a new drain plug ready. The car has a melted/burnt wiring connector (pins 5 & 6) causing an electrical fault. I have already purchased the replacement connector (pigtail harness). The job is to cut off the old damaged plug and properly splice the new connector onto the existing wiring (crimp/solder and heat shrink). Access is already available. Yesterday the engine light came up and the fan didn't turned off until around 5 minutes after turning the car off. I drove the car into an autocare to scan it and it showed up a few errors that apparently didn't make sense and the mechanic couldn't figure out what was going on. He turned the light off and stayed off until I got home, then when I got to work this morning it happened the same again. Took the car to the same autocare, scanned it again and it showed the same errors. He wrote a list of those and gave it to me to check somewhere else. I need a mechanic that have worked with Peugeot cars before to see what's happening and fix it as its systems are a bit tricky. Pay to be discussed.

I bought a new "modern looking" car radio for my Peugeot 307. Looking for someone to take care of the wiring (refer to the attached picture) ans install it. Note that I have the tool to remove the orignal radio of the car.

All the lights from my Peugeot 307 left rear headlight stopped functioning 2 weeks ago. The light bulbs seem all okay. Searching online, it appears that it is a common issue on this type of car - I am unsure if this common issue is the cause of my issue. Looking for someone to fix it.

2009 Peugeot 308 I suspect the thermostat has busted. The car has started to overheat really quickly, but I can see no signs of any leaks in the cooling system. Some other things need looking at The gear shift jams in Park intermittently. I recently had the car serviced, but the mechanic could not find the cause or a solution for this. A battery warning light appears on the dash. This is new, after the previous mechanic replaced the battery. The previous mechanic replaced the rear brakes, now the ESP warning light is permanently displayed. An anti pollution fault warning is frequently displayed. I need a better Peugeot mechanic than I got last time.
