Looking for an experienced mechanic to complete a head gasket replacement or engine repair on my 2014 Holden Colorado RG 2x4 automatic diesel. The vehicle originally developed a suspected head gasket issue, however before work began it was still driving. I started preparing the ute myself but no longer have the time or funds to continue. A significant amount of labour has already been completed: • Entire engine disconnected and essentially ready to lift out • Cooling system and accessories removed • Front end partially stripped for access • Wiring, hoses and associated components disconnected • Parts organised and stored with vehicle The ute is still a complete rolling vehicle with transmission/driveline installed and all removed components included. Looking for someone experienced with: • Holden Colorado RG diesels • Head gasket replacements • Engine removals/installations • Diesel engine work Open to: • Labour-only quotes • Mobile mechanic • Workshop repair • Someone wanting side project work Located in Geelong area and can provide photos of current condition and everything already completed.
