Hey, I’m looking for someone to install about 7.5 metres of 1.8m-high bamboo privacy screening on my apartment balcony in Mitchelton. I’ll be supplying the screening – I just need it installed. It’s a rental, so nothing can be drilled into the balcony or permanently fixed. It just needs to be secured using a removable method that’ll hold up in the weather. I was going to do it myself, but I’m always flat out with work and just don’t have the time. It shouldn’t take long at all for someone who’s done this kind of thing before. Let me know if it’s something you can do and what you’d charge.

I have an open wardrobe that needs a cover/doors urgently due to house sale. Floor to ceiling (2.4m) and wall to wall (3m). Note fibro walls and ceiling require consideration of fixtures used. A couple ofnother small handyman jobs also required

I have a large boxed air-conditioner that will be removed soon, and I will need this space repaired. It's a brick house so I will source some bricks to be used for the external, but I will need a qualified person who can repair the woodwork and plaster the internal. I would also like it if someone could also lay the bricks.

We had bathroom renovators leave an unfinished job, so we are in the process of fixing some of the work. They used a wood for the cornice whereas previously we had the simple curved cornice plaster. We want this returned back to this. Need a experience labourer to replace. Bathroom is around 3m x 4m - Tiling and Ceiling is fine - just the cornice work. Dont require painting - need a clean and professional finish. Budget for labour only, if you can get cheaper materials directly instead of bunnings, can add.

Plaster replacement on a wall where the existing plaster is damaged. Cornice installation on existing wall (but plastering was very rough). There is a small notch / edge in the wall that needs to remain the cornice here will be a bit more complex. Total cornice length is about 6m. We have 3m of cornice on site, AirTasker to provide the rest. Main section of plaster replacement is about 1900mm by 900mm, with two small sections each about 700 by 600. Rough in for electrical is complete, so plaster to be cut to fit around this. There is plywood bracing behind the 1900mm by 900 mm so this main section will need to be removed carefully from ontop of the bracing without damaging it. While we have 3m of cornice, we don't have any plasterboard spare. In addition to the kitchen area there is a small repair job required in a bedroom. Two strips on the wall and roof. Wall strips are each 90mm wide and 2.4m high, roof is 250mm wide and about 3m long in total.

The door is hanging from one side as one of the hangers probably broke and therefore the door is no longer attached to the track.

Skylight calendar installation requires wall mounting. It's a heavy screen, so we need to be sure we mount it to wall studs, or screw a reinforcing plate to the studs and then mount the screen to the plate.

Install a hinged screen door with heavy-duty mesh and lockable latch and the regular diamond shape security grill on a timber swing door into a garage. Nothing fancy... standard colours... white or black, but must be done properly and securely by someone with experience in that service. Will need to do your measure up first.. door may be slightly wider. Note: House has a couple of people in wheelchairs who live there but someone who works there will let you in. I will pay.
