Find a professional gate installation in Subiaco

Twin front pedestrian steel gates no longer close and latch properly because the gap between the two brick side pillars has reduced by approx 10mm at the top vs the bottom due to street tree roots. Hinges can no longer be adjusted to accommodate. Would therefore like the RHS gate to be modified so as to reduce its width by ~10mm. This will involve cutting this amount off each of nine internal 10mm steel rods and the top and bottom frame, grinding back the stumps, re-welding the shortened rods back to the gate frame, and re-Installing to ensure normal gate and latch operation. Owner will re- paint as required.

I need a proper external lock installed on my timber gate in Subiaco so I can open and lock it from both sides (like a normal external door). Job includes: • removing the existing latch • installing a deadlock or gate lockset (key both sides) • drilling/chiselling the mortice in the gate • fitting the striker plate into the brick pier • making sure the gate closes smoothly • sealing any old screw holes Gate is solid timber and easy to access from both sides (photos attached). I can supply the lock (Lockwood 355 or similar), or you can supply one.

I am looking to have an additional privacy screen and gate to be erected in my carport to match the existing one (as can be seen in the attached pictures). The task will involve sourcing the necessary materials (I will provide exact details of the items currently in-situ before the job, to help sourcing) and installing the fence/gate. Colorbond carport gates have been clad in pine on both sides, adding weight which necessitated installation of wheels on outside face to manoeuvre them more easily. Hoping to have the same or similar wheels installed on inside rather than outside.

Top of front gate rubs against support. Seems to have sagged over the years. The middle part and lower part of gate don’t rub on support. I have no idea how to fix this, so that’s why I’m here to get your help. Please note - can’t just bend support the other way as doing so will affect the closing/opening of the doors next to it. These small steel frame front gates will not close properly and need repair or modifications. I have tried to increase the gap with an angle grinder but that doesn’t work because I suspect that the real issue is movement in the gate’s hinges and/or perhaps the mount to the brick pillars. - Due date: Flexible
