I need a timber side gate installed between my house and the perimeter fence to enclose the garden. The space between the house and the fence is 1170mm so I will need a 900mm (1500 mm high) gate and two 100x100mm posts (to be concreted into the ground. I am happy to purchase the gate, posts, hinges and latch from Bunnings or equally happy to have all materials supplied by the installer. The price quoted is for installation only . Would like to to install a colourbond gate. The width of the space I have wall to wall is 1400mm wide. I would also like it to stand 2000mm tall preferably but am flexible depending on availability of sheeting. There is currently a temporary gate which will need to be removed to complete the job.

Looking for someone to properly adjust the rail on my front gate in Epping. The motor works perfectly, but the rail sits slightly above the spinning wheel, causing movement issues. This was repaired once before, but the problem came back after a few months. I’m after a professional, long-lasting fix – not a temporary solution. The rail needs to be aligned properly so the gate runs smoothly and doesn’t break again soon after. Should be a straightforward job for someone experienced with sliding gates, motors, or metalwork.

Gate needs to be moved from current location to end of driveway. The width of new location is maybe 12 cm shorter than current location. I’m thinking the whole thing could just be moved as is and would close a bit wonky, but might need smaller posts to fit. Or gate could be cut smaller. It’s a simple metal frame, welded.
