Find professional gardeners in Brunswick VIC

Hi! I’m looking for an experienced gardener or landscaper to refresh both my front and backyard. I’d like to keep the garden simple, clean and low-maintenance, with a slightly Japanese-inspired look. I don’t want major landscaping or construction, mainly removing/replacing plants and improving the existing garden. The job will include: * Remove and dispose of 3 dead trees in the backyard and replace them with suitable new trees/plants * Remove or relocate some existing plants that are no longer suitable * Plant additional new trees, shrubs and plants where needed to improve the overall garden * Create a simple row of small, neat shrubs along the white fence in the front yard * Relocate and replant an existing kumquat tree * Weed and clean all garden beds * Prune and tidy existing healthy trees and shrubs * Fertilise existing plants and improve the soil * Add mulch where required * Mow and edge the lawn * Remove all green waste after completion I’m happy for the gardener to recommend which existing plants should be kept, removed or relocated, as well as suitable replacement plants. My main priority is for everything to be low-maintenance and easy to look after. I would like the quote to include labour, removal/disposal, some new plants, soil, fertiliser, mulch and all other materials required for the job. I can provide photos of the current front and backyard and some reference photos of the style I like. Budget: approximately $1,500–$2,000 including labour, some plants and materials. Please let me know what you would recommend and what can be done within this budget. Tasks for a day’s garden work at 165 Barkly St The task is basically a clean-up of a very small backyard garden and some plants and growth on the front balcony and street tree. I am paying for one full day’s work and I think the work can be done in one day, especially if the weather is sunny. The gardener must have their own means to remove and dispose of organic waste, to have a ‘cherry picker’ to trim out-of-reach tree foliage and vines, and be able to climb on the flat roof to clear gutters and solar panels of any leaves and vines, including the neighbour’s gutters. There are some patches of soil which have been poisoned – one cat poo and the other by Council workers disposing of asphalt waste. The gardener must be able to dispose of this soil. I also need the gardened to renew soil in 8 pots and a small area of the garden itself adding as appropriate new soil or blood-and-bone which I have. I also need as much of leafy waste put away on-site around the boundary fence, and the remainder disposed of. I also need vines that have ‘gone wild’ to be greatly trimmed back and extricated from a small tree, and an old bird’s next removed. The front porch needs to have almost all the greenery growing next to the public pavement removed, a broken branch on the Council tree removed and a little work, not much on the area around the tree. The pots on the front porch are included in those to get some blood-and-bone and possibly the gardened might prune a little Japanese Maple in the pot. I am negotiating for the whole work, which I estimate can be done in one day. The latter part of this week is forecast to be sunny, so the work can be done any time this week, Type of gardening: Weeding, Garden cleanup, Other Size of garden: Under 50m² Has green waste bin: Yes
