Installer must also remove and dispose of existing carpet and underlay and replace skirting boards where necessary. ⸻ 📌 Scope of Works: 1. Remove & Dispose of Old Carpet • Remove all existing carpet and underlay from 5 rooms. • Remove any leftover tack strips, nails, or staples. • Dispose of materials in accordance with local regulations. 2. Prepare Subfloor • Ensure concrete slab is clean, level, and ready for installation. • Patch or smooth minor imperfections if needed (as part of installation scope). 3. Install Supplied Carpet • Professionally install carpet in all five areas using appropriate stretching techniques. • Lay with precision around door frames, corners, and built-in fixtures. • Tack strips or adhesive to be supplied by installer (unless noted otherwise). • New underlay will also be supplied (if applicable), or clarify if installer to provide. 4. Recently had tiles laid and they removed the skirting boards. Looking for someone to install new skirting boards around the family/living room and lounge room now that the tiles are laid. Approx 40-50 linear metres. Would like this done before December when the painters come.

We want hybrid flooring planks installed throughout our whole house with the exception of the master bedroom and the bathrooms - 111sqm in total. I will include the house floor plan in this ad, in the plan everything from the kitchen/family/3 bedrooms are all currently real wooden flooring and the living/dining room is an extension which the old owners only did with chip board & loose laid vinyl. For this reason we would want underlay put down first and then the hybrid planks so that it minimises movement. Skirting would need to be removed and reinstalled (my husband would then re paint them or fix any little imperfections as required). Happy to provide more photos as requested. Worth noting that the walls in the house are not asbestos as we had that tested before doing any work here ourselves.
