We have an issue with the flooring in our gym’s squat area. The vinyl/wood-look planks have become uneven. When lifted, the subfloor underneath appears damaged or has collapsed, creating a soft and unstable section. This is a high-traffic, load-bearing area used for squats and heavy lifting. At this stage, we are seeking a practical, short-term solution to stabilise and level the area so it is safe to use, rather than a full replacement or long-term renovation. Photos are attached showing the issue. 2 squat rack flooring to be completed. Looking for an experienced handyman, carpenter, or flooring professional who can provide a temporary repair solution.
