Looking for an experienced deck restoration professional to help us finish restoring our large outdoor timber deck. We have already spent considerable time preparing and sanding the deck using a drum floor sander and handheld belt sander. Unfortunately, the old reddish-brown paint is proving difficult to remove and has left the deck looking very patchy. What we need: * Assess the current condition of the deck and remaining paint. * Remove the stubborn old paint/coating using the appropriate method. * Complete sanding and preparation to achieve a consistent finish. * Restore the built-in timber bench seating, including backs and fronts. * Prepare and apply a suitable exterior timber oil or finish. * Clean up and remove all paint debris and waste. Our desired finish: A lighter, natural timber look with a slight sheen rather than the existing dark reddish colour. We are not looking to replace the deck, just have the existing timber professionally restored.
