Scope of Work – Fence Installation Project Please see below the detailed scope of work required for our project to assist in providing an accurate quotation. General Information: • Total fence length: Approximately 20m (rear) + 7.5m (side) • Fence type: Hardwood posts and rails and pine palings • Material supply: Posts, Rails , Sleepers and concrete, will be supplied by the client • Old fence: Already removed, but requires disposal by the contractor Work Details: 1. Posts Installation: o Install 6 hardwood posts into holes measuring minimum 800mm deep x 350mm diameter to the surface level o Concrete should sit 20–30mm above ground level in a dome shape for drainage and to minimize post rot o Ensure you have a root-cutting attachment in case any holes encounter plant roots 2. Rails and Palings: o All rails to be constructed from hardwood o Approximately 10m of the fence (rear section) will require three rails (instead of the standard two) for added structural strength 3. Sleepers: o Install 4 hardwood sleepers: 2 sleepers to replace existing retaining wall sleepers 2 sleeper to be added on top of the existing sleepers to raise retaining wall height 4. Post Alignment with Retaining Wall: o 2 out of 6 posts are to be installed in front of the retaining wall to maintain a straight fence line 5. Concrete Handling: o Concrete will be delivered premixed by Concrete Taxi o The fence area is approximately 15m from the delivery point o Please ensure the driveway and deck are protected during transport (wheelbarrow route must be covered) o The closest access point involves a 1m drop to the fence level, so buckets may be required to pour concrete into holes safely 6. Clean-up: o Upon completion, the worksite must be thoroughly cleaned and all debris removed

The corner of my bathroom doorframe has rotted and needs to be repaired and waterproofed, and I have three loose wooden fence palings that need to be nailed back into place.

Hi, We need to replace the top lock on our gate to something more sturdy as the bottom lock sometimes fills up with dirt and the dogs are able to push out of the gate. We are thinking the same lock on the bottom gate but positioned sideways? Open to ideas.

I have a metal fence and some metal load bearing beams that have bolts that are rusting. The metal beams are over a swimming pool. I need the rusting areas to be repaired, protected and repainted.

Looking for someone to help assemble and install an aluminium side pedestrian gate with a small side panel. The gate and panel come in a flat pack. May require some cutting to fit the length. Comes with 3 posts - 1 to be bolted the bricks of the house, 1 bolted to the ground and 1 is an in-ground post to be concreted in (rapid set concrete will be provided) Sketch of installation location and an example of the aluminium gate provided.

Both posts require replacing. Preferably steel/metal posts but open to suggestion. Existing gate to be re-hung. One (or more) hinges need replacing. One post is in ground, other post is in cement. Gate is quite heavy. Open to quotes on a sliding (not motorised) gate. But would prefer quote to fix existing gate. Budget negotiable depending on options.
