Looking for a qualified electrician to install a pendant lamp in a bedroom. Single storey- roof space easily accessible. The catch may be installing the switch. There is currently a single architrave switch on the door frame, controlling two down lights. There is a built in wardrobe limiting access to the side of this. I’d like a 2 gang installed (with a combined dimmer/switch for the pendant) so will need you to enlarge the hole in the door frame and run the new cable through. I’m not a tradie but suspect you may need to cut an access hole in the gyprock on the other side of the wall. See photos and happy to discuss feasibility. I’ll supply - pendant lamp - dimmer mechanism - new switch plate (2 gang) If you need to cut into the gyprock to access I’ll handle patch/paint repair
