Gas cooktop spark things is not working

My current cooktop needs replacing as it has damage from trying to remove melted plastic, I’ve found a replacement and need it swapped over. Or if you have any other ideas (to fix?) please advise

There is no visible damage, but the gas smell is noticeable inside the cabinet. My Bosch PBH6 series gas cooktop trips the safety switch immediately when the power is turned on. It worked this morning but now it trips instantly before ignition.

Guys i have new oven and the new oven doesn't slide in to the slot as the previous oven has space at the top which means that my gas connection needs to be redone someone needs to take the connection out from gas cook top and tweak it to bring it from top. Technically it needs to be higher
