Blanco gas cooktop (about 14 yrs old) Suspect it’s a faulty thermocouple. The main burner doesn’t stay lit when holding the knob down, or it takes a long time of holding down the knob for it to finally stay lit. All other burners working fine.

One of the knobs on my gas cooktop seems to be very sticky, resulting in a constant clicking. I have tried so many times to clean / dry / take off knob part but with no success. I took the actual knob part off which fixed it the sound for a little while (but I couldn't use this gas burner), however at the moment, whenever the cooker is turned on at the wall it keeps clicking (even with the knob removed).
