Have dents, gouges, scrapes repaired by a professional tradesperson – do not ‘touch up’ with poor matching paint. Light switches and power points - Wipe over with a damp cloth to remove dust & finger marks. Skirting boards - Wash with warm soapy water (sugar soap) and a soft damp cloth Kitchen & bathroom cupboards -Wash with warm soapy water and a scourer - for stubborn marks try mineral turpentine (laminate cupboards only) Range Hoods -Remove filters & wash with oven cleaner, ‘Jiff’ or put them in the dishwasher. The top and underneath of the Rangehood also needs to be cleaned. Oven and grill - spray generously with oven cleaner and leave - come back wipe out & scrub, then spray again. Continue until clean. Natural products that are also good is ‘bi-carb soda mixed with vinegar’. Dishwasher - Run a cycle with Vinegar, wash around the edges of the door seals & clean the filters Windows - Ensure the outside windows are clean first then from inside lift the sliding panel up & out and clean both sides of the windows as well as the tracks – Glass is to be left free of smears – do not remove the fly screens as they may bend.
