What do fan installers do?
Even if you know how to install ceiling fan wiring, the installation must be done by a licensed electrician to avoid the danger of electrocution. If you're having more than one fan installed on the same day, each additional ceiling fan installation will usually cost less than the first.

Ceiling fan replacement
If you're replacing an older ceiling fan or your room already has a ceiling outlet, the electrician can complete a like-for-like ceiling fan installation. This usually takes less than an hour and involves removing the existing fan, assembling and installing the new fan and connecting the wiring. The ceiling fan is running very slowly, maybe the bearing in the shaft drive has worn out. Need someone to fix the ceiling fan. I will pay for the parts that need replacing separately.
David couldn’t fix the fan at first visit, he then went back again to replace the fan. He didn’t notify me when the fan was replaced and left the warranty book to tenants instead of me. He could have communicated better on this job.
