Hi, I need a certified electrician to replace a faulty ceiling fan switch, as shown in the attached photo. I’ve already purchased the replacement switch, just need it installed before 1st July. 1. Ceiling fan in bedroom is no longer working therefore needs to be removed and replaced with new ceiling fan - I will purchase ceiling fan 2. Existing power point in bedroom is located near skirting board - needs to be higher up the wall. I will purchase the power point.

You will need to access the roof space to install a piece of wood between joists behind the Gyproc to support a ceiling fan. The roof space is accessed in the next wing of the building on the top floor (5 flights of stairs), You will need a step ladder to access the manhole and then climb up a ladder mounted inside the roof to access it. The access from the manhole to the roof cavity is a besser block chimney type structure about 4m height. You will then need to walk over inside the roof cavity to the unit wing to install the wood. You will need to supply tools and equipment plus a piece of wood suitable to support the fan. Provide a photo of the securing mechanism of the wood once complete.

We have 5 ceiling lights and 3 ceiling fans that we would like to replace our current light fixtures. In total, there’s 5 ceiling lights to install, and 3 ceiling fans (2 indoor and 1 outdoor).
