The deck needs a good refresh, including proper preparation, sanding and application of a new stain to bring it back to looking fresh and well-finished. Ideally looking for someone with experience in deck restoration who can achieve a neat, professional finish.

Looking for an experienced carpenter or flatpack installation specialist to mount and finish a series of IKEA units. IMPORTANT: All cabinet frames and shelving units are completely pre-assembled and built by me prior to your arrival. This is an INSTALLATION, LEVELING, and FINISHING job only. I am aiming to have this completed efficiently in 1 long day or 1.5 days. Scope of Work: • Pantry: Remove existing timber shelves. Wall-mount 6 wall cabinets and level/secure 7 base units using the IKEA METOD suspension rail system. Cut to length, secure, and silicone 3x IKEA SÄLJAN laminate benchtops. Fit provided FÖRBÄTTRA gap fillers/cover panels. • Bedrooms 1 & 2: Wall-mount 2x BESTÅ units (120x38x40cm) onto plasterboard wall studs over existing study desks using provided BESTÅ suspension rails. • Garage: Wall-mount 2x small BESTÅ units (60x20x64cm). Note: I am sourcing the 2x 60cm BESTÅ suspension rails for these, they will be ready on-site. • Lighting: Route and mount IKEA MITTLED LED strip lights and spotlights under/inside the pantry cabinets (low-voltage, plug-and-play into existing wall outlets). • Safety Anchors: Secure 2x pre-assembled, floor-standing KALLAX shelving units (with underframes) to the plasterboard walls using standard anti-tip safety brackets to prevent tipping. Optional Surcharge Item (Please price separately in comments): • I have 1x existing cabinet frame and door above the fridge cavity that needs to be taken down, cut down in height, re-edged with tape, and re-installed to make room for a larger fridge. Please let me know your extra charge for this. Requirements: • Must have a track saw with a fine-tooth blade for clean, chip-free cuts on laminate benchtops. • Must have a high-quality stud finder and proper heavy-duty wall anchors for plasterboard. • Must have proven experience with IKEA METOD and BESTÅ rail systems. I have a timber bedframe which is creaking and when I looked where, I found that few of the screw holes are stripped and I ess unable to tighten the screws on one joint. I need someone to help fix this with a strong bond so it csn be drilled again. I tried Earl’s Timbermate wood filler but it did not work

New basin has been installed and now needing cabinet doors cut so that cabinet doors can close. Approximately 15cm to be taken off from the top all the way across. Part of the off cut to be used to be permanently fixed against the cabinet on each side of the sink for a seamless look. Once cut cabinet edging should be replaced so raw wood is not exposed. Cabinets appear to be mdf plywood.

I need an experienced carpenter or builder to inspect my back verandah and quote on repairs. There is significant water damage and rot to timber around a verandah post and handrail. More importantly, the timber beam directly under the gutter is rotting and appears to be pulling away, which may be affecting the stability of the verandah roof. Looking for someone to install a stainless steel wall shelf onto the brick wall pictured. Shelf, brackets and original mounting hardware/fixings are all supplied. I also have the installation instructions. It needs to be mounted securely and level on the front of the brick wall, underneath the TV, just below the power points. Please take appropriate care when drilling and ideally have a detector to check the area before drilling. Should be a fairly quick and straightforward job for someone with the correct masonry drill/tools and experience mounting into brick. Located in Prahran. Looking for help with the following: 1) cupboard underneath sink has sagging middle shelf as it has been bearing too much weight. Require requires a fix or replacement plank. Replacement plank would require a hole in it for pipes. 2) there is some minor rusting around the pipe that connects the dishwasher outlet to the plumbing.
