I’m looking for an experienced handyman, carpenter or cabinet installer to repair and reinforce a floating timber shelf in my home. The shelf has started pulling away from the wall after supporting bottles of alcohol. It appears the adhesive or existing fixing has failed, and I don’t want it simply glued back into place. I’m looking for someone who can: * Inspect the existing installation. * Properly secure and reinforce the shelf using the most suitable method (e.g. concealed brackets, additional fixings, or another long-term solution). * Ensure the shelf is level and capable of safely supporting the weight of alcohol bottles and glassware. * Supply any required fixings/materials (please advise if there will be any additional material costs). I’ve attached photos showing the gap between the shelf and the wall.
