One of the beams at the front of our house has rotted and dropped, displacing the gutters exacerbating the problem and damaging more of the woodwork. The beam and associated rotten wood needs replacing and the gutters refitting.

Looking for a qualified carpenter with all the tools required to remove old balustrades and supply and install new outdoor deck balustrades (handrail, lower rail and balusters) with following dimensions. Handrail lengths: - 1x 1.7 m - 1x 1.71 m - 1x 1.48 m - 1x 1.36 m Baluster dimension: 82 cm x 6.2 cm x 2 cm 2 existing posts need to be cut and/or sanded down to be level with the top of the handrails. The handrails need to be level and top of the handrail should be flat as we are installing aluminium shutters directly on top of the handrails. No painting is required for this job, but the baluster cut ends including nail heads should be primed / sealed to avoid the balusters and lower rails from rotting. Job required to be done to a professional finish.

Others are rotting at the bottom where they contact the bottom rail probably because the ends were not primed properly). Cut off top of balustrade posts to indicated mark.
