Hi, I’m helping a friend with a 1994 Toyota Corolla AE92 automatic and I’m hoping to get some experienced auto-electrical advice or if needed assistance to make sure we’re approaching the repair the right way.Budget is for diagnosis and advice only. Happy to increase for the right expertise The car has wiring damage from an earlier cigarette lighter circuit repair that overheated and burned back into the loom. That work wasn’t done by the owner. While driving, smoke came from the dash, the car lost power, and it now won’t crank. There’s visible heat damage to several ground (earth) wires and nearby wiring behind the dash. The cigarette lighter itself doesn’t need to be reinstalled. I’m doing the hands-on work and I’m purchasing a complete compatible donor wiring section/loom now (from Pick-A-Part or similar). Before installing it, I’d really like to sanity-check the approach with someone who knows these older Toyotas well. I’m hoping someone can assist in some practical guidance or if needed possible work. This could be reviewing photos, confirming likely causes of the no-crank, and advising whether full replacement versus targeted repair makes the most sense and if so possible assistance to help Happy to pay for phone advice, photo review, or general diagnostic guidance. I just got a dash cam and need to install it in my rav4 2008

We need some headlights replaced on a 2012 Nissan Dualis and the break lights on a 2006 Yaris hatchback. We don’t have the break light bulbs for the Yaris as we bought the wrong ones (thanks Supercheap…), so we’ll need these to be bought and installed as we can’t figure out what they need to be. For the Dualis we have the right bulbs (hopefully), so just need them installed!

Need help installing the dash cam in my vehicle Hardware kit provided

Looking to have someone experienced with installing central locking on older cars to source parts and install central locking on my 1985 BMW E30 coupe. Car already has an immobilizer with remote installed, otherwise requires entry via keys. Can travel and drop off car if needed. Budget is for labour only, happy to pay for parts on top.

I have a arrow canopy on my ford ranger Wildtrack and I have purchased some central locking whale tail lock to install and I need to wired in by an auto electrician

I have an old mazda with an aftermarket remote central locking kit and alarm. Recently the central locking stopped working and will lock but not unlock. Since the doors don't have keyholes, I have to unlock the car via the rear hatch. The alarm/immobiliser still appear to work. I assume the current central locking mechanism have died. I'm looking for someone to help the providing replacements and installing.

Indicator light don’t sync when locking and unlocking door. This started when the BCM was replaced a year ag. I replaced the flasher but I still have the same issue. It acts up more when the car has been under the sun for longer. Commodore VZ 2004
