My washing machine is making an unusually loud noise and requires someone experienced to fix the issue. It could be as simple as something small lodged in somewhere where it shouldn’t be? It’s a Fisher and Paykel front loader- 9 kilo

The oven temp knob on the outside of our old (most probably from the 80) St George Imperial oven has broken. The outer plastic part of the knob has broken and the metal base of the knob is not reflecting the accurate temp of the oven as even though looking like it's back to zero the oven has been staying on at a low temp. We have turned it off at the fusebox for the time being so it doesn't stay on. So the whole knob likely needs to be replaced either by one of the other knobs to the right of it possibly as they aren't used or a replacement knob that we're not fussed if looks different to the others. Cannot find a serial number on the oven but have provided pics.
