The fridge compartment continues to work normally throughout; only the freezer is affected. What I suspect: This pattern (gradual frost-up → thaw → self-recovery → repeat, with the fridge unaffected) points to a defrost system fault rather than a refrigerant or compressor problem. I'd like the technician to test the defrost heater, defrost thermostat/sensor, and the defrost timer/control board, and check the evaporator fan and defrost drain while they're in there. The lower grill/oven functions fine however when i use the upper bigger oven area, it starts making ringing or lose component hitting metal sound.
