COOL BREEZE air cond. apparent water pump failure. Fills and dumps water but no flow on panels. Recently replaced cooler panels on another air cond, and previously replaced water pump on same one, but since knee operation can't stand on steeply pitched roof. Also need chinamans hat replaced on flue next to air cond.

My living room air conditioner has kicked the bucket in the heat. Main unit turns on fine but the compressor outside fan won't run. Makes an intermittent buzzing noise that sounds like it's trying to start. Fan will go if I click flick it manually with a screw driver. Warm air coming from main unit. We want to purchase a gas log fire to install in our 1930's home's fireplace, but we need advice on whether the flue will be an issue (installing it up our chimney which we're told has a slight dog-leg bend in it, and we also have AV cables up inside the chimney).
