Looking for a qualified technician/electrician to help with a faulty 90cm built-in electric oven in Upper Mount Gravatt. The oven turns on normally, but after running for a few minutes it trips the power. A wiring/electrical fault is suspected. It has previously been inspected and I was advised that it may not be economical to repair and that replacement may be the better option. I’m looking for a cost-effective solution — happy to repair it if the fault can be fixed economically, otherwise open to replacing the oven. If repair is possible, please advise the likely cost based on the above symptoms. If replacement is recommended, please quote for a suitable 90cm built-in oven including supply, delivery, installation/electrical connection, and removal of the existing oven. Washing machine is not draining water after a load has been completed. We believe the drainage outlet pipe is clogged as this is a tenanted property and will require this to be checked.

Hi! I’m installing a 60 cm built-under dishwasher (Bosch Series 6 SMU6HCS01A, 815 H × 598 W × 573 D mm) in my apartment’s galley kitchen in Coorparoo and need a cabinet maker to rework the cabinets. Plumbing and electrical are already arranged, so this job is cabinetry only. Current layout (right-hand run, from the sink corner): 300 mm corner unit, 400 mm four-drawer unit, 400 mm single-door cupboard. That’s 1120 mm in total. New layout: 120 mm filler, 600 mm dishwasher opening, then the existing 400 mm drawer unit. Work needed: Remove the 300 mm corner unit and replace its front with a 120 mm filler. The corner space behind stays as a blind corner cupboard, opened from the existing narrow door on the sink wall. Remove the 400 mm door cupboard and dispose of it. Move the existing drawer unit across to sit to the right of the dishwasher opening. Create a 600 mm opening for the dishwasher. Make sure the laminate benchtop and its corner join are still supported, and fit a moisture/steam strip under the benchtop above the dishwasher. Trim and refit the kickboard across the new layout. Fit side panels to any exposed cabinet sides. Drill holes for the hoses and power cable from the dishwasher, through the corner space, to the sink cupboard. Measurements: Floor to underside of benchtop: 860 mm Wall to front of cabinet doors: 585 mm Benchtop depth: 590 mm (laminate) Access: upper-level apartment, stairs only (no lift), so tools and the old cupboard come up and down the stairs. Street parking nearby. I’m hoping to have this done within the next two weeks. Photos, a floor plan and the dishwasher install manual are attached. Please quote a fixed price including materials and disposal, and give a rough timeframe.

Looking for a licensed plumber to safely isolate, disconnect, and permanently cap off the plumbing lines for a kitchen dishwasher cavity. Removal & Disposing of the dishwasher needed also. I will be converting the space into a permanent cupboard. The Appliance: It is a fully integrated Fisher & Paykel double DishDrawer, located directly underneath a wall oven. Location: Annerley, lift to second floor and inside parking in the complex. Timing: Flexible, but looking to book within the next few days. Tasks Required: Safely isolate and disconnect the dishwasher water supply, drainage hose, and electrical connection. Permanently cap off and seal the hot/cold water intake valves and the drain line connection (likely under the adjacent sink) so the cavity is completely safe, dry, and ready for a cabinet insert. Carefully slide the unit out of the cavity without scratching the kitchen floor tiles or damaging the surrounding cabinet/oven frame. Please remove and dispose of the dishwasher also.

Samsung WW85T504DAE washing machine shows “Check drainage / Clean drain filter” during a normal wash. I have cleaned the drain filter and checked the drain hose. Drain/Spin completes normally. Looking for someone to diagnose and repair the drainage issue. Please advise before replacing any parts.

We have an integrated dishwasher in an approximately 8-year-old apartment kitchen. The dishwasher recently developed a leak and we had a dishwasher repair technician attend and fix it. The leak is now resolved, but after the repair the dishwasher was not secured back into the cabinetry properly. The repair technician was not able to resolve this. The dishwasher can now move/wobble backwards and forwards within the cabinet cavity. Because it is moving, the top of the dishwasher falls slightly backwards into the cavity and the door cannot latch properly. At the moment we cannot reliably close or latch the dishwasher door at all. We are looking for someone to securely fix/mount it back to the surrounding cabinetry so it cannot move, supply/install any suitable brackets, screws or fixings if required, make sure the dishwasher door lines up and opens/closes/latches easily and reliably The dishwasher itself is working and the leak has already been repaired. No plumbing or electrical work should be required — this task is specifically about physically securing the dishwasher correctly in its cabinet space. Would love to have this completed ASAP.

My Samsung 8.5kg front-load washing machine is not draining. Model: Samsung WW85T504DAE/SA The machine shows “Check drainage / Clean drain filter.” I have already completed troubleshooting with Samsung Support: Drain filter has been removed and checked — it is completely clear. Pump impeller can rotate and does not appear to be stuck. External drain hose is not kinked. I disconnected the drain hose from the household drain and placed it directly into the laundry sink, then ran Drain & Spin. No water came out. A large amount of water remained inside the machine and had to be manually drained through the emergency drain hose. Samsung Support has advised that the washing machine now needs to be inspected by a repair technician. I am looking for someone experienced in washing machine/appliance repairs, preferably Samsung, to diagnose the problem and repair it if the cost is reasonable. Please let me know in your offer: Whether your offer includes diagnosis/call-out. Your labour cost. Approximate additional cost if the drain pump needs to be replaced.
