The existing oven is a Westinghouse POR663S 600mm built-in oven, which appears to be hard-wired. However, I am not 100% certain whether there is an existing power socket behind the oven or in an adjacent cabinet. The new oven is a Miele steam combi oven (plug-in type). If there is no suitable existing socket, the hard-wired connection will need to be converted to a compliant single GPO (power point) on site. I’m replacing an older Westinghouse WVE6314 low-amp plug-in oven (approx. 10A) with a Bosch HBN53R550A electric oven that requires hard-wiring. The existing oven is on a normal power point shared with a bench-top microwave. The property is a single-storey 1980s unit. I’m looking for a quote to hard-wire the new oven, make the circuit compliant (dedicated oven circuit if required), and ensure the microwave is supplied from a suitable general power outlet.

Disconnect & Remove: The old freestanding oven (see Photo 1). Install & Connect: The new second-hand freestanding SMEG oven (see Photo 2). Both ovens are 90cm freestanding dual fuel (gas cooktop, electric oven). Must be a single Tasker to handle both connections with experience. A licensed person is preferred.
