I have two stove top burners (on the left) that will not stay alight on my Smeg freestanding oven. Also, when 2+ burners are on at the same time, the flames are weak. I’ve already had a technician come out to quote the job, so I already know what is required to be fixed. Gas pipe also needs to be replaced because it is dented in one section and reducing gas flow to the burners when oven is against the wall. Have already tested by pushing stove away from wall. Can I please be quoted for the below: 1. THERMOCOUPLE WOK BURNER [Front Left] 2. THERMOCOUPLE [Rear Left Burner] 3. GAS DISTRIBUTOR PIPE ASSEMBLY 4. Cost of labour I’ve been advised that the replacement of the thermocouple may not fix the problem, and if that’s the case, the wiring underneath the stove top may need to be replaced for those two burners. Hi, I’m having an issue with the gas cooktop. The two large burners occasionally go out after I turn them on. They seem to work initially, but when I place a pan or pot on the flame, the flame goes out. This only happens with the two large burners. Could you please let me know if you’re able to and fix this issue?

Smeg gas stovetop is not light flame on any of the heating units. You can hear gas being dispensed but no flame catches.

Technika 5 burner gas cooktop. Four burners work normally, but the large burner does not ignite, even with an external flame. I can smell gas when trying to use it. Looking for a qualified/licensed gas technician to inspect and repair it. Budget include the call out fee and labour.

I dont know who broke it (not me) or how it broke (maybe water) but the ignition on my gas hobs doesn't light them...we have to use a lighter and it's a pain in the ass! Also, one of the rings isnt getting any gas at all! So need that fixed too. I have purchased a WESTINGHOUSE 60cm Induction Cooktop WHI635BE from Good Guys to replace a current gas cooktop. I have measured cut out of current gas cooktop which is the same. Need a gas plumber + electrician to disconnect gas connection and install new cooktop. No modifications to benchtop expected. The current gas cooktop is plugged into a standard electrical outlet underneath it. Must provide appropriate Certificate of electrical safety.
