Hi, I have a Delonghi dishwasher and now it gives me a E1 error on the screen. Issue was the water doesn’t drain properly and just stayed at the bottom.

We have an old Miele dishwasher (was here when we bought the house). For the last month or so the ‘inlet / drain’ light comes on periodically. Sometimes at the beginning of the cycle, sometimes at the end. Sometimes there is water in there sometimes there is not!

I need a new dishwasher installed. I currently have an integrated dishwasher which also needs to be removed and disposed of. The new dishwasher will be a freestanding dishwasher. I have been advised that a small modification to the cabinet will be required as the floorboards have been installed after the dishwasher which means it is effectively not able to be removed without cutting the wooden trim / panel at the top. This also seems to be acting as a bench support on the right hand side but is not fixed on the left hand side where the dishwasher is. I have attached images showing how this appears.
