I need someone to look at my faulty gas/electric range/cooktop. It has been disconnected from the main electrical line temporarily as the igniter keeps activating without pushing any knobs. But doing so stops me from using the oven as it runs on electricity and not gas. Refer to video below.

Hi, I’m looking for a licensed gas fitter to inspect an already installed gas cooktop. Just need a quick check of gas connections, leaks, and overall safety/compliance, and a compliance sign-off if all is okay. If required, a gas isolation valve may need to be added underneath the cooktop. A cement sheet has been installed behind the tiled wall for heat protection due to slightly reduced clearance (around 125mm).
