Issue: • Machine is not draining properly during the cycle • As a result, it won’t spin and the door stays locked • I can manually drain the water through the filter, and once drained the door opens normally • No obvious blockage in the filter or rubber seal Based on troubleshooting, it appears the drain pump is likely faulty or failing intermittently. Bosch dishwasher I think is a SMS63L08AU but the sticker has come off the inn we lip - have posted pictures . I think it’s the pump as I have checked everyone and the impella is spinning but the unit switches off after a couple of clicks when it starts up . Photos of the dishwasher attached . My AEG dishwasher is making very loud noises when it’s switched on. I googled it and it’s seems like it’s trying to continue to drain water even after it’s already drained. Maybe something to do with valve? The valve is hard to get to as it’s on under the sink cupboard with only a round hole to get there. I also have a EAG oven that’s falling apart and I bought a second hand SMEG one as a straight swap. This job will require two people.
