I have a 12-year-old townhouse and suspect water seepage from deteriorated grout in my two shower areas (floors and walls), one at ground floor and the other upstairs. Looking for an experienced tiler/waterproofer to assess and fix this. Scope of work: 1. Remove old/deteriorated grout from shower floor and wall tiles (refer images of the shower areas) 2. Rake out grout to full depth, not just a surface skim 3. Clean and dry the water/moisture under the floor completely before re-grouting 4. Replace silicone sealant at all joints - wall corners, wall-to-floor junctions, and around the shower screen/hob with anti-fungal sanitary silicone 5. Re-grout using a flexible, mould-resistant, waterproof epoxy grout. Colour of the grout to match the existing grout of the bathroom. 6. Leave the bathroom clean on completion Please bring a moisture meter to check for active leaks When expressing your interest, kindly reply to the following questions: 1. When it rains it leaks between the slab and bricks. Ground slightly higher in spots above the slab. Needs to waterproofed.

There is an outdoor staircase at the entrance of my house. The steps are exposed to the elements, and directly underneath the stairs is my garage storage area. Because the staircase is open to the outdoors, we have discovered a leakage problem. Especially after it rains, water leaks into the garage storage space below. Need current bathroom tiles removed. Waterproofing of the entire area and then retiling with new tiles. Tiles of main area are only on the floor (no wall tiles, just one tile height up). Also require shower area to be retiled - need to remove shower base, wall tiles and shower door. And then retile shower base and 3x full-height shower wall + install new shower door. Following recent complaint from neighbouring Unit about damp wall had Plumber investigate. Report indicates "Spray tested shower cubicle and found immediate water escaping through grout lines. • Used thermal imaging and confirmed water tracking from shower area, likely beneath tiles, contributing to water ingress into neighbouring property." Think shower walls and base need grouting and waterproofing then rebuild of shower including tiles and walls and probably new shower screen. We think physical inspection needed to provide accurate quote.
