I have a balcony that has compromised waterproofing. During periods of heavy rain, water ingresses across various spots and drips onto my lower floor ceiling panels which have resulted in damage over time. The job, as I understand, will require demolishing and removal of existing tiles, grout, screed and any existing waterproofing. The fibre cement floor boards should remain intact. The job will then require multi layer application of new waterproofing and flood testing before new screed, levelling and new tiles are to be installed. Preference is to use epoxy grout and request this be provided as an option vs standard grout. Floor space for repair is approximately 13sqm and is located on the 2nd floor with access through the house or via the driveway.
