I’m looking for an experienced, reliable tradie to complete waterproofing and re‑tiling on my balcony. Total of 8 tiles across two areas, plus small edging cuts around pergola posts. Tile size: 450 × 450 mm. Areas Area A: 6 tiles removed Area B: 2 tiles removed + a section of timber/plywood subfloor missing (see photos) Day 1 – Waterproofing - Cut, fit and seal a 9 mm plywood piece to replace the missing subfloor in Area B. - Apply 2 coats of waterproofing membrane, sealing all gaps with polyurethane and/or join band. - Surface must be smooth, even and fully sealed. - One coat was already applied; if it wasn’t done correctly, apply 2 new coats (preferred). After curing, I will test the membrane. If it fails, you must return to fix any issues or we won't proceed woth Day2 and Day3. Day 2 – Tiling - Install 8 tiles as per photos. - Small cuts required around pergola posts. - Must ensure membrane is not damaged and tiles are level with existing ones. Day 3 – Epoxy Grout - Apply epoxy grout to all new tiles. Experience essential. Materials All supplied by me: tiles, adhesive, join band, plywood, epoxy grout, consumables. You must bring your own tools. Quotation Please split your quote into: - Day 1: Waterproofing - Day 2: Tiling - Day 3: Epoxy grouting Payment made at the end of each day. Other Requirements - Balcony must be left clean daily. - Preferred: this coming week (weather is good). At least 2 days needed.

Following recent complaint from neighbouring Unit about damp wall had Plumber investigate. Report indicates "Spray tested shower cubicle and found immediate water escaping through grout lines. • Used thermal imaging and confirmed water tracking from shower area, likely beneath tiles, contributing to water ingress into neighbouring property." Think shower walls and base need grouting and waterproofing then rebuild of shower including tiles and walls and probably new shower screen. We think physical inspection needed to provide accurate quote.

The joints between the bottom of timber door frame and the stone terrace/balcony tiles are no longer waterproof due to failing ir damaged sealants. Rain water can seep underneath the door frame through the gaps in the sealant. Tasks required: 1) removing failed sealants 2) create a flexible waterproof joint - using exterior waterprrof and UV resistant sealant to seal door frame base; 3) Prevent pooling of water around the joint Two door frames : one at the terrace and one at the balcony. I need a qualified waterproofing specialist to check and provide a quote for repairs on a townhouse in Glenroy. The issue is in the balcony's waterproof membrane, causing water to leak into the structure and damage the soffit below. There is active water ingress causing moisture staining and biological growth at the floor to wall junctions, as well as visible damage to the soffit below. There is bubbling paint and surface deformation. Additionally, the balcony lacks an adequate fall to the drain, resulting in water ponding. Additionally, there is grout deterioration in the bathrooms that needs addressing to prevent internal leaks.

Bathroom waterproofing and tiling Room size is 2.5 x 2.8 m It needs waterproofing, and under floor heating installed, then tiling. I’m looking at 900 x 900 tiles for floor and one wall. The other walls will be 1200 x 600 tiles. Part of one wall (1.5 x 2.4 high) will not be tiled, but there is also a half wall to be tiled of 1250 x 1200 high. I am wanting two niches, and also have a tiled bench/seat in shower. I want to tile to ceiling height which is 2400 I would like mitre edging for half wall, trim for niches and expoxy grout for the shower area

We’re looking to have someone attend site to confirm that the waterproofing is still intact and in good condition for inside bathroom. Additionally, we’d like the affected sections (as highlighted) to be regrouted, as the existing grout has worn down. Our preference would be to use epoxy for the regrouting, and we’d also like the caulking to be redone where required.
