Bathroom waterproofing — Darlinghurst — licensed only Small bathroom in a strata apartment, 2.5m x 2.0m, first floor. Bath being removed and replaced with a walk-in shower, so the wet area is expanding. Need full membrane to the floor and walls to the heights required under AS 3740, applied to bare substrate after strip-out. Must be licensed. The strata by-laws require a waterproofing compliance certificate to be provided to the owners corporation, so I need your NSW licence number and a certificate on completion. We need two bathrooms and two balconies waterproofed and tiled. Need to have proper licensing; we are supplying 600x600 porcelain tiles Bathroom floor areas are 2.8x2m and 2.8x 1.9. We are only planning to tile the floors and shower areas (shower would be 2.4m high and approximately 1m on one wall and 1.2m on the second). External balconies are 1x4.6m and second is 15 square metres. Total area approximately 19.6 for external balconies and 23 square metres internally for bathrooms.

Hi we looking for someone to grinder and remove existing waterproofing membrane from a planter box make it ready for new waterproofing

The building has ongoing water ingress / waterproofing issues affecting several areas, including external tiled areas, planter boxes and other associated building elements. Some remedial works were previously commenced but were not fully completed. At this stage, we are looking for an experienced contractor to: Attend the site and inspect the existing conditions; Identify the likely sources of water ingress and waterproofing failure; Review any previously completed or partially completed repair works; Recommend a practical remedial solution; Clearly identify what works are genuinely necessary and what areas require repair; Provide an itemised quotation, including labour, materials, waterproofing system and associated works; and Advise on expected timeframe, warranties and any approvals/design documentation required before commencement. This is an existing strata residential/commercial building, so experience with strata remedial works, waterproofing, balconies/terraces, planter boxes and external tiled areas is highly preferred.

I have a standard shower, after a while water starts to seep out from the shower area and on to the bathroom. I think sealing issue of door or borders?

I require a qualified tradesperson to inspect and provide a written quote for repairs relating to a leaking shower. The scope of works includes: - Assessing and waterproofing the shower area to stop the leak. - Repairing water damage to the basement ceiling directly below the bathroom, caused by the shower leak. - Providing a detailed written quote outlining the required repairs and costs. The quote will need to be submitted to my strata manager for approval before any work can commence. Once approved, a suitable date can be arranged to complete the repairs.
