The new mailbox post needs a concrete pad. So forms need to be built. I'm estimating 24" x 24" and 8" deep. After the concrete cures, I will anchor the mailbox post to the pad with concrete screws.

The wood mounting support beneath it is damaged and uneven from prior repair attempts, including old glue and mismatched hardware.
