The Vehicle: 2008 Lexus LX 570 (5.7L V8) The Issue: The car suddenly developed a severe, rhythmic vibration while driving uphill. The Check Engine Light is flashing, and the VSC/Traction Control lights came on. It feels like a dead misfire on one cylinder. Important Note: The gasoline in the tank is up to two years old, so I suspect either a coil died under the uphill load, or the old gas clogged an injector.
