I have an ikea shelf (roughly 60x60cm, four existing anchor points) that needs to hold heavy goods (~50kg - I have reinforced the shelf itself), but the wall is old masonry (soft brick behind plasterboard, no gap) and my fixings are not doing the job. If you have time, fitting two hooks that would hold planters hanging from the ceiling would be ace, but only if it’s a quick add on. Must provide better masonry fixings than the ones I have (I have tried three), and have experience with old masonry, soonest is best. Weds / Thurs ideal. He was really professional. He came and did all cuttings inside his van and he cleaned every dust when leaving . He was very soft spoken and very handy with the instruments and he provided very good material. He did finishing and touch ups as well. I really really recommend him. I have 2 picture that need to hand off a screw in the wall. The walls are plaster so they will need to have a plug inserted before the screws are added. I then I have an 150cm x 10cm shelf that I would like fixed to my wall. It is fitting into a corner so there are two sides it can be supported from. Ideally I don't want any visible shelf brackets below and know that some carpenters have tricks with screws and filler - is this something you can help me with?
