Duties include feeding, cleaning litter and providing lots of love and attention. Hello! I’m looking for someone trustworthy and experienced with birds to board my pineapple conure, Kiwi, in their home while I’m away on holiday. Dates: Unsure of exact dates But between : 26th July to 5-6th August 2025 Location: Ideally near Westminster, West London, but I’m open to nearby areas if it’s the right fit. About Kiwi: • Kiwi is a hand-tame pineapple conure, hatched in July 2024. • She’s playful, intelligent, and enjoys spending time outside her cage. • She knows a few tricks like fetching, flying to your hand, and spinning. • Her diet includes pellets, fruit, and occasional treats like multigrain Cheerios and sunflower seeds. • She sleeps in a soft hut and enjoys daily out-of-cage time. • She can be vocal and a little nippy if stressed, so gentle, bird-savvy handling is essential. • She should not be housed with or directly near other birds unless caged separately. She will need to warm up to a new person over time so can be threatening to new face. Take time and talking gently, giving treats will help with bonding. What I’ll Provide: • Her cage, toys, food, treats, bowls, hut, and care supplies cleaning supplies. • Detailed care instructions • Emergency contact What I’m Looking For: • A safe, bird-friendly home (no open windows during playtime, no scented candles, no Teflon/non-stick cookware, etc.) • Someone with experience caring for parrots or similar birds • Willingness to interact with her daily and send occasional updates/photos Budget: 💷 £8–£10 per day, based on your experience and location. Would prefer people with rabbit keeping experience. 2 large cages can be provided. Hay/Pellets will be provided, just need fresh kale and some veggies to be bought & fed once in morning and once late evening/night.
