I am looking for a qualified auto electrician or experienced installer to set up a 10.26-inch Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto tablet and its accompanying rear-view reverse camera in my car. ​Tasks include: ​Display Mounting: Securely installing the 10.26-inch screen on the dashboard using the provided bracket. ​Camera Installation: Mounting the waterproof rear-view camera at the back of the vehicle. ​Wiring: Running the camera cable through the vehicle to the display unit and tapping into the reverse light power source so the camera triggers automatically when in reverse. ​Cable Management: Ensuring all wires are hidden behind interior panels for a clean, professional look. ​Vehicle Details: ​Mercedes-Benz A Class 1.6 A180 Sport 7G-DCT 2015

The car died without warning last week due to a completely flat 12V system — even the hazards wouldn’t work, and it had to be recovered. The main 12V battery was at 7V and the auxiliary at 12V. I’ve now replaced both, which briefly brought the car back to life, but it still shuts down within a few minutes. During short tests with the new batteries charged back up it shows “traction battery fault — OK to drive”. After each test both new batteries have already discharged (main down to ~11V, aux down to ~12V). They were 12.6–12.8V when fitted. I’ve also noticed the cabin heater and heated seats don’t work, and the car won’t accept a Type 2 charge — the cable locks in, then the charge indicator flashes red. If anyone has seen this before or knows where to start, I’d really appreciate the help. I’m struggling to find a garage or mobile mechanic willing to look at it.
