Replace LED strips in LG TV
£120
Tooting Bec, Greater London, SW17

Some of the LED backlight strips in our ~45" LG flatscreen TV need replacing. The TV is in a living room with two large tables that can fit the TV on lying down. We don't have our own tools to take the TV apart, replace the broken LEDs and put it back together.

Amazing work done by Dumitru. Arrived on time and completed the job in a very efficient manner amd left his work space tidy. He is very polite and friendly, and I would definitely use his services again in future. I recommend him to anyone looking for a very good professional for your DIY jobs.

LG TV repair
£75
Camberwell, Greater London, SE5

Hi, I need help with my LG TV (wall-mounted) that is no longer turning on. The issue: • The TV doesn’t power on at all — no standby light or display. • Occasionally, it powers on the next day after being unplugged for several hours, which suggests a power board or capacitor issue. • I’ve already tried unplugging it for extended periods, holding the power button to drain it, and using both the remote and physical buttons — no luck. • The remote works fine (batteries replaced) and the power outlet is working It seems to be a capacitor failure. Important: • The TV is securely wall-mounted, so I’d need someone who is comfortable either repairing it in place or safely removing it if needed. Please let me know: • Your availability • If you’ve worked on LG TVs before • An estimate for diagnosing and potentially replacing the faulty component I’m based in Camberwell (SE5) and would prefer someone who can come in person. Thanks
